Meet Our Models: Kieran

Kieran first joined the Blue Banana team in April 2022 for his first photoshoot. With Sheffield as their backdrop, we tasked Kieran with modelling a range of band merchandise and some spooky Spiral Direct t-shirts. 

Kieran’s style suits Blue Banana to a T! Stretched ears, facial piercings and tattoos are right up our street so we knew Kieran would be a great fit for Blue Banana. Check out some of our favourite shots from our first photoshoot.

Kieran then returned in June 2022 for festival season! We love this time of year at Blue Banana as all our favourite bands come out of the woodwork to perform at some of the best festivals around. Think Download Festival, Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds, bringing some major highlights to your summer. 

Rowan and Kieran made a great pair for this summer shoot and we couldn’t be more pleased! Check out how they style their festival outfits in this photoshoot.

For our most recent shoot in 2023, Kieran was back to show off more of our festival merchandise. With headliners such as Foo Fighters, Metallica and Slipknot playing at some of this year's biggest festivals, it was only right for us to show off some of our awesome band tees to celebrate! Along with the all-important festival accessories, Kieran strutted his stuff in this sunny festival photoshoot. Take a look: 

About Kieran

Kieran is a Yorkshire-based alternative model who is a keen drummer and often creates art in his spare time.

We asked Kieran to share a little more about himself.

"I have been modelling now for almost 3 years. It started off as helping out a couple of photography friends with some streetwear shoots with no intention of it going anywhere. Now I have modelled for lots of brands and bands and I’m very fortunate to have so many people put their trust in me to represent their products and merchandise. 

Being asked to become a model and affiliate for Blue Banana made my younger self so proud. I was buzzed to be a part of a brand I used to wear all the time as a teenager! And to this day I still have a bag which I bought from Blue Banana back when I was about 15/16! 

One thing I like doing when modelling is to work with the photographer and brand to create a whole look and theme. Finding the right location, clothing and accessories to make the final photos pop! I enjoy being able to model a variety of different types of products and how I can combine some together to make a cool look.

I have always been a huge fan of music, having frequently gone to live shows and festivals for over half of my life. I love everything from black metal, hip hop all the way down to country and dance music! As long as it’s not indie music, sign me up! 

I have also played drums for most of my life having been in bands until the last few years. Playing shows to people across the country was always something I really enjoyed and maybe one day soon I’ll get to do it again! 

I also do art and have always been a big fan. I run my own art account online selling prints and original artwork, as well as taking on commissions and have even done some logo/design work.

As you can probably tell I love tattoos and I’m hoping to one day be pretty much fully covered! I’m hoping to get some more done soon but having bought a house with my girlfriend in the past year I’m having to take a little break for my bank account's sake!"
