Download Festival

14-16th June @ Donnington Park, Leicestershire

Arguably the biggest and best rock festival hosted in the UK, Download has been going since 2003 with some of the biggest names in the rock and metal scene headlining this 3-day event. Whether 2024 is your first time attending or your 10th, we’re here to help you prepare for the big weekend.

Check out this year's epic lineup including Queens of the Stone Age and Fall Out Boy’s first-ever headlining slot at the festival.

HEADLINERS:

  • QOTSA
  • FOB
  • A7X

When Fall Out Boy was first announced as the Saturday headline spot, the festival faced backlash as fans did not think Fall Out Boy was the right fit for a rock festival main act. Whether you think the band is heavy enough for Download Festival or not, you can’t deny that they have an extensive catalogue of tunes and a long-standing career that make them a worthy candidate for a headline act!

Check out our range of band tees to get merchandise from Download acts such as Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Omens and Pantera.

Whilst you’re visiting Download Festival we suggest that you check out these awesome bands:

  • Electric Callboy: We’re sure you’ve heard of this German band before but we can’t get enough of their alternative rock vibe. With elements of comedy and heavy riffs, we recommended checking these guys out on the Opus Stage on Sunday.
  • Hanabie: If you’re a fan of the kawaii-metal genre then this is the band for you! Combining kawaii aesthetics with heavy guitars, this Harajuku-core band is making waves in the metal scene. Be sure to check them out on the Opus Stage on Friday!
  • Make Them Suffer: The Australian metal scene has been producing some killer metal groups in recent years with bands such as Polaris, Parkway Drive and The Amity Affliction rising in fame over the last decade. Make The Suffer are sure to become a big name too. You can expect heavy breakdowns and synth-wave melodies from this 5-piece. Find Make Them Suffer on the Dogtooth Stage on Friday to see what they’re all about.
  • Slaughter To Prevail: If you like your music heavy then this band may become your new favourite. Slaughter to Prevail, hailing from Russia, offers guttural vocals and heavy breakdowns that will have you running to the mosh pit. See them on the Opus Stage on Saturday.

Reading & Leeds Festival

23-25th August @ Central Reading & Bramham Park

HEADLINERS:

  • BLINK-182
  • FRED AGAIN
  • LIAM GALLAGHER

Reading & Leeds is back with another full lineup including Blink-182 and Liam Gallagher. Whilst Reading & Leeds may not be the heaviest festival around, this iconic UK festival is still offering the stage to some fantastic alt-pop and indie bands like Neck Deep, Spiritbox, The Prodigy and The Amity Affliction. For those with eclectic music tastes, Reading & Leeds is the perfect festival to suit all of your music likes.

  • Catfish & The Bottlemen: This pop-rock band has been pretty quiet for the last few years with some lineup changes within the band so we’re very excited to see them back on stage hopefully with some new bangers in the setlist.
  • Ashnikko: Ashnikko is a powerhouse in the alternative pop scene and we’re sure she will put on a good show at Reading & Leeds this year.
  • Loathe: This Liverpudlian band has been making waves in the metalcore scene and has already received nominations for several alternative music awards since its formation in 2014. We’re expecting big things from this 4-piece so be sure to check them out on the Festival Republic Stage on Saturday
