DESCRIPTION
The graphic print on the back of this black band tee is bright yellow, featuring a skull with wire-like strands breaking out, similar to the way cells look under a microscope. The yellow print is slightly raised, with a bumpier texture than the smooth, soft cotton of the top. In the lower quarter of the image, the lyrics of the first verse of the song line the back of the spine and are spaced out and aligned vertically. The front of the graphic t-shirt is far more simplistic in comparison, with a simple distorted and faded logo of the band fuzzily appearing behind the rounded textbox that contains the word ‘yellowjacket’, appropriately done in yellow.
Yellowjacket is the third track of this Canadian metal band’s debut album Eternal Blue, released in 2021. The album was an instant hit with critics, praised for its production, songwriting and musicality, following the success of several singles produced in the years before and during the Covid Pandemic. This graphic tee pays tribute to this successful band and one of their many hit songs in particular, featuring individual and stand-out artwork.
