So, how do you go about using these vibrant conditioners for coloured hair? Just as easily as you would use your regular conditioner! We do recommend wearing gloves when applying the colour conditioners; their pigmented formulas are designed to dye the hair, so they can still stain skin. 

1. After shampooing your hair, apply gloves and squeeze the contents of your chosen conditioner into the palm of your hand and apply to the hair. If you are applying the coloured conditioner to only particular sections, we recommend using a brush tocoat the colour. This will allow you to avoid applying the colour to any areas that do not need it.
2. Leave the coloured conditioner to develop for a minimum of 10 minutes; you can leave it for longer to get a more intense result.
3. After the developing time, rinse the colour with cold water to help lock the pigment in, until the water runs clear. 
4. Leave the hair to air dry, or dry with heat, but ensure heat protection is applied and the temperature is kept low.

Can I use the Love Color™ conditioners on dark hair?

Similar to semi-permanent hair dyes, the Love Color™ Colour Depositing Conditioners are best applied to a pre-lightened base. However, the more pigmented colours can bring a tint of colour that is noticeable in most lights. Shades such as Rock Me Red, Purple Rose, and Fuschia Fever are the most pigmented conditioners and make the best options for darker hair colours
